Mark Antony Parker Imports is a small independent business, established in 2004. By dealing directly with the producer we support a fairer means of trading for Cambodian farmers and their families. Currently, we are the only company importing Kampot pepper from Cambodia into the EU, guaranteed by a certificate of origin.
Mark (pictured above) says "Kampot pepper has a sweet and smokey warm smell". He loves the aromatic and delicate taste and long length of the pepperiness which he puts down to the mineral rich soil and coastal air. Kampot pepper with crab which is served at Kep, Cambodia is absolutely wonderful. Although, Mark knows only of one restaurant that cooks it to perfection.
